So sunday I had a more laid back day, after running around almost everynight last week it was quite nice. Then today was class all day, because we were making up for the classes we missed because of the holiday thursday. Then I just walked around town for an hours or so after dinner and came home. Nothing exciting to report except...
The birds here are totally nuts! Not only do they wake me up every morning with their excited squawking (it sounds oddly like a blaster fight from star wars but sped up to a high frequency...hard to describe) but they fly around constantly at high speeds in large loops and figure eights chasing each other or evading some invisible predator or something. They're flying as fast as they can, barely missing buildings, squawking constantly, and grouping up together, then just zooming around on their own, before grouping up again. Its weird. I think they're swallows, from the look of the tail. The only thing i can figure is maybe they're catching bugs or something, but i swear it's all the time, except once it gets dark. Ive never seen anything like it.
